Opt for a tall-tub dishwasher if you need a larger capacity. You can typically wash table settings for 16 with a tall-tub dishwasher, whereas a standard dishwasher might only accommodate table settings for 12. During the holidays or large family gatherings, the tall-tub capacity comes in handy. Even during normal use, you can fit more dishes in your dishwasher, ultimately reducing the number of loads you run. Tall tubs also allow you to wash oversized plates, utensils or cookware that might not fit in a standard dishwasher.
